Dark Chocolate Almond Loaf

175g softened butter, plus extra for greasing
175g golden caster sugar
3 eggs
140g self-raising flour
85g ground almonds
½ tsp baking powder
100ml milk
4 tbsp cocoa powder
80g Remarkable Chocolate Organic Dark Chocolate, broken up
20g chopped almonds 
1. Preheat oven to 160ºC. Line a loaf tin with baking paper.
2. Beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, flour, almonds, baking powder, milk and cocoa until smooth.
3. Stir in half the chocolate, then scrape into the tin.
4. Bake for 45-50 mins until golden, risen and a skewer poked in the centre comes out clean.
5. Let cool, then lift out onto a wire rack. Melt the rest of the chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pot of simmering water, then use a spoon to drizzle over the loaf. 
6. Sprinkle chopped almonds over top of the chocolate drizzle.
